Timeline & Terms
Eligibility
Open to all creators worldwide, aged 13+. Solo entries only — the submitter must be the original creator of the artwork. No ABLUR subscription required. No limit on number of entries per creator.
Judging Criteria
Entries are evaluated for creativity, technical skill, background design, and how effectively ABLUR was used in the final artwork. In the event of a tie in People's Choice vote counts, an internal judging panel will select a single winner based on the criteria above.
Copyright & Rights
You retain all rights to your work. By submitting, you grant ABLUR permission to feature your entry on our platforms and in marketing.
Content Policy
Entries must be original solo work by the submitter. Disallowed: AI-generated content, third-party copyrighted characters, offensive or 18+ imagery. ABLUR may remove any submission at its discretion.
Warranty & Liability
By submitting an entry, you represent, warrant, and agree that:
- The artwork is your own original creation, made by you — not copied, traced, or generated from another artist's work.
- Your entry does not infringe any third party's copyright, trademark, moral rights, rights of publicity, or other intellectual property rights.
- You hold all rights necessary to submit the entry and grant ABLUR the permissions in the Copyright & Rights section.
- The artwork does not contain AI-generated imagery, offensive content, or third-party characters.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ABLUR, its affiliates, and contest partners from any third-party claim, damages, or expense (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from (a) misrepresentation in the warranties above, (b) any third-party claim of infringement based on your entry, or (c) material breach of these Contest Terms.
Lifetime License — Promotion Terms
"Lifetime" means the operational lifetime of the ABLUR service. The license is valid for as long as Carpenstreet operates ABLUR.
Specific assets, features, and usage limits covered by this prize may be adjusted as ABLUR evolves. Changes to the prize scope may take effect without individual notice to the winner.
The license is granted to the winning creator's account only.

FAQ
Do I need an ABLUR subscription to enter?
No. Every participant receives a free 14-day trial. You can create and submit your entry without any existing subscription.
I already have an ABLUR subscription. Can I still enter?
Absolutely! Current subscribers are welcome to participate. If you win a prize that includes ABLUR access (1-Year or Lifetime), it will be added as a separate license — your existing subscription will not be refunded or replaced. Think of it as bonus access on top of what you already have.
What tools can I use alongside ABLUR?
Any drawing or painting software — Clip Studio Paint, Photoshop, Procreate, etc. The only requirement is that your background must be made with ABLUR.
Can I submit more than one entry?
Yes! There's no limit on the number of entries per creator. Each entry is judged independently.
How does voting work?
Voting is open to everyone — no account or sign-in required. Here's what you need to know:
- One vote per entry, per day. You can cast one vote for the same entry each day.
- No limit on how many entries you can support. Found multiple favorites? Vote for all of them!
- Daily reset at 00:00 UTC+6. Your votes refresh every day at midnight UTC+6, so feel free to come back and vote for your favorites again tomorrow.
At the end of the submission period, the entry with the most total votes takes home the People's Choice Award.
What file formats are accepted?
Submit via Instagram post. Tag your post with #ABLURComicon and share the link through our submission form.
When will winners be announced?
Winners will be announced on June 8, 2026. Judging takes place June 1–5. Results will be posted on this page and shared through our Discord server.
Can I enter with a collaborative piece or art my friend drew for me?
No. Each entry must be the solo work of the submitter — the person who uploads the entry must be the original creator of the artwork. Collaborative pieces, commissioned works submitted by the commissioner, or entries featuring art made by someone else are not eligible.
What happens if someone claims my entry isn't mine?
All submitters agree to the Warranty & Liability terms when entering. If a claim arises, ABLUR may request authorship evidence (original files, process screenshots, etc.) during the verification window. See the Warranty & Liability section in Terms for full details.
